Tauren at the G.I. Joe Red Carpet
This week I attended the GI JOE premiere at Mann's Chinese Theater in the heart of Hollywood. The black (not red!) carpet was laid out and fans of all ages crowded the streets to catch a glimpse of the stars as they walked into the theater.
Personally I was not a huge fan of GI Joe, but the movie looked action packed and I couldn't pass up the invitation. The film itself was loaded with amazing CGI, intense action scenes and even some humor that got me laughing. Channing Tatum performed well as "Duke" and Rachel Nichols as "Scarlett" was awesome! The movie seemed a bit long, but the high tech gadgets kept this gadget guy glued to the screen.
Afterwards, I was able to chat with Ray Park "Snake Eyes" and congratulate him on his success. We had met once before at Wizard World LA, so he was happy to see a fan return and continue to support him. Although he usually plays silent characters, Ray Park's movements are incredible along the lines of the great Doug Jones.
If you're itching for a high-action, low-drama film, then melt into your seat and enjoy the ride because GI JOE is thrilling!
Did you like the movie? Was it a hit or a miss??
